Websites and phone numbers make pharmacies easy to find. Social channels and detailed service information create a broader picture of what a pharmacy offers and how a customer can access it.

Finding a pharmacy online
Eighty-seven per cent of audited pharmacies have a working website, and all list a phone number. These essentials give customers a way to find the pharmacy and start a conversation about the services they need.
Phone access remains universal in the audit, giving customers a direct option when online information is incomplete.

Social media
Fifty-seven per cent of audited pharmacies have at least one Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn account. Forty-three per cent have no recorded presence across those channels, while Instagram is active for 32%.
A focused social presence can give customers another way to recognise services, people and useful updates from a local pharmacy.
Service information
The same audit records private or discreet treatment at every pharmacy. Public descriptions and delivery information appear less consistently, showing how the quality of a digital presence depends on the detail a customer can find.
Clear service, access and delivery information gives customers a more useful view of a pharmacy before they decide how to get in touch.
